SHS twerking videos: Male students in Ghana never stop googling for it
Male students in Ghana never stop googling for SHS twerking videos each time they carry out a search on Google. These students cut across SHS and tertiary institutions. It seems our students just want to feed their eyes to some winding waist and believe the easiest way out is to do a search on Google.
What is Twerking? For those who do not know what this means, twerking is a dance move that is performed by provocatively winding the body, especially the waist and backside, in a seducing way. It includes thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance during the dance to either arouse others or tease the opposite sex.
These dance moves have been common and associated with Francophones, however, the craving for this kind of dance in Ghana has reached its crescendo.
How did we know that students are searching more for twerking videos of Senior High School students than anything else?
Well, google data delivered to our blog indicated that the search queries such as SHS twerking videos, twerking videos, and related words brought these students to our site instead of queries such as BECE, WASSCE, Biology, Integrated Science, or any of the topics or subjects that they learn in school.
Female students who twerk at any given opportunity have their own reasons for doing that. Very often the reasons are not those that are edifying. If they are not twerking to attract male students, then it is to tease them. But ver often, some students want to show their ability to dance using their waist. Often students who engage in this move in groups, and are known for the act on campus.
It is also possible that some female students may be searching for the same videos to watch, either for entertainment purposes or to learn how to twerk. Entertainment events in second-cycle schools end up becoming twerking competitions for female students, as each one of them who hits the dance floor wants to show what she is made up off.
Could the quest to watch SHS twerking videos mean that most of such videos uploaded online are those of students in secondary school?
