Edulearn BECE Update: 2021 BECE school selection shortcode for checking schools to be released soon.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) after announcing the date to start the selection of school process has said it would give students opportunity to text a shortcode to confirm the school choices before CSSPS placement early next year.

In a statement copied to EducationWeb.com.gh, GES said candidates who sat for the 31st edition of the BECE for School from Tuesday November 23, 2021 will commence the sensitization and education on the school selection.

“Candidates, teachers and parents are to note that the sensitization and education on this year’s guidelines for school selection into Senior High Schools will commence Tuesday November 23, 2021,” the Service stated in the release.

It said the sensitization exercise starting today Tuesday November 23, 2021 will take place in all the Regional, District Education Directorates and various public and private Junior High Schools (JHSs) across the country.

According to the Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) the selection of schools by the 2021 BECE graduates will start from Monday November 29, 2021 to Tuesday December 14, 2021.

GES has encouraged parents and guardians to take a keen interest in the forthcoming selection of Senior High Schools process to ensure a smooth Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) placement this year.
