According to Central Regional Minister, bleaching was one of the issues that came up during her interaction with the Queen Mothers, and most parents did not seem to be worried about the challenges it poses. Students need to be educated on the dangers of the practice which include Mercury poisoning, Dermatitis which is the inflammation of the skin caused by contact with certain substances. Symptoms of Dermatitis may include mild to severe and include skin redness, blisters, skin ulcers among others.
