Dadieso SHS teachers allegedly engaged in exams malpractice -WAEC must act
Edulearnweb has gathered from reports that Dadieso SHS WASSCE students allegedly compelled by teachers to buy APOR or FAIL their WASSCE 2020. Dadieso SHS is located in the Western North region. The coded name for money students are compelled to pay for help in the WASSCE is the SIGN OFF Fee.
The 2020 WASSCE has commenced after the long delay, however, students of Dadieso SHS have been asked to make unacceptable financial commitments to enable them to get unfavourable access to questions, solutions, and leeway in the ongoing examination.
According to our source and whistleblower on the grounds, this has been the practice since 2016. In Dadieso SHS the Exams Malpractice is engineered by some unscrupulous teachers who force students to pay money for help during the WASSCE exam. Their illegal trade and activities have been a worry to a section of the school that believes this is the time to let the world know.
The whistleblower had this to say about the canker that has been happening at the blind side of the GES and WAEC …
If I am to tell the kind of money which has been taken from students during WASSCE exams, you will cry and such practice started after we completed SHS.
In 2019, the teachers made each student pay GHS200.00. The students pay GHS100.00 for each core paper and GHS50.00.
After taking this money, students are directed to come to the exam hall with an android phone.
Teachers engaged in this are stationed within the school premises and solve the questions. The solutions are WhatsApp to the students in the exams hall through the android phones on them.
The students are not invigilated and but are allowed into the exam hall with their phones on them to only copy the answers provided.

Fast forward, 2020 has become another illegal cocoa season for the group of teachers involved. From our whistleblower, for every elective subject, the students are being compelled to pay GHS150.00. and Ghs100.00 per elective subject. The school currently has no less than 300 students seating the 2020 WASSCE. Those involved would have illegally earned at least GHS75,000 as a result of sacrificing the integrity of the WASSCE exam. However, some GHS500.00 has also been mentioned.
Sad to add that the code of conduct on the student-teacher relationship has been thrown to the dogs as teachers continue to sexually abuse the students of the school.

Our findings indicate that the school’s English subject was canceled in 2019 and efforts by WAEC to find proof of examination malpractices were not successful due to the crook actors.
Through this publication, we call on the Ghana Education Service and the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to investigate these allegations and ensure students are not forced to engage in such illegal acts, to as a matter of urgency take the necessary action on these activities alleged to be going on for the past five years. Get those found culpable arrested.
