A final year student in SHS has committed suicide after his girlfriend dumped him and ended their relationship. The deceased is an 18-year-old student by the name Kelvin Omondi who attends Alara Mixed School in Kanya.

The breakup happened on the phone and whiles the lady was ready to end the relationship, the 18-year-old Kelvin was not ready to live with the pain of losing his queen.

Facts gathered by Edulearnweb revealed that the girl’s parents were not in favour of the relationship. They had on several occasions kicked against the two love bed’s companionship.

This was what compelled the lady to take the hard decision of breaking the news about her decision to the male student.

A source close to the families of the two former love birds indicates that the two had been in the relationship since they were primary kids. The body of the deceased student had been deposited at the mortuary at the time of this publication.

One question that needs to be asked is whether students know why they are in school. Very often, boy-girl relationships have turned bad and made students who should be concentrating on their education do some crazy things.
