WASSCE 2020 Horrific Failure: Over 175000 Obtain D7-F9 in Integrated Science
The huge numbers that failed the WASSCE 2020 Integrated Science paper were predicted long before the examination was over. Indeed, coming events cast their shadows before them. Significant events are often preceded by signs that they are about to happen. Students went about destroying school properties and insulting the president because they knew they were going to fail the Integrated Science paper.

The WASSCE 2020 candidates went nuts, destroyed school properties, and insulted the president of the republic for giving them pass questions that WAEC did not set examine them on.
In almost all of those videos, that trended during the WASSCE 2020, the outrage of students was centered on one issue “they have been deceived by the government because the compiled past questions and answers provided them was not replicated in their exams.”

The 2019 result for Integrated Science was 63.17% pass whiles that of 2020 is 52.53%. This represents a 10.64% decline in Grade A1-C6. In more plain words, 10.64% more students failed Integrated Science in 2020 compared to 2019.
The Akufo-Addo graduates who failed Integrated science must now register for the 2020 NOV/DEC, prepare adequately, and take the examination if they want to continue their education and enter any of the tertiary institutions.
Candidates who did not pass other core subjects must also do the same. Parents must now make out-of-pocket payments for their ward’s remedial examinations preparation as well as the NOV/DEC fees if they want their wards to take the delayed NOV/DEC examination.
The WASSCE 2020 Integrated Science failure is a big blow to these students who were hopeful of making it into the various tertiary institutions after the exam. As it stands many will be delayed by at least one year if they do not take the upcoming resit in December 2020.
