From the video trending, the strictness of invigilators during the WASSCE Integrated Science Paper examination conducted on Monday, August 3, 2020.
The raging students accused the headmaster of attacking a teacher who was making a call during the examination.
On the Nhyira 104.5 FM program KroYiMuNsem hosted by Papa Nyamekeh and monitored by edulearnweb.com, the students said they wanted to obtain F9 in their WASSCE if the headteacher would continue to frustrate their efforts in the exams.
The students said the school’s excessively strict rules on them during their WASSCE is making them very uncomfortable.
According to the information gathered indicated that the headmaster took a teacher’s phone from him in the exam hall and smashed it on the floor. The students also alleged that they were prevented from visiting the washroom during the ongoing WASSCE in the school.
Education is to enlighten people but if you are producing graduates with this kind of mindset, then I can only sigh and pray for you Ghanaians. I have never seen this kind of uncouth behaviour of any WASSSCE candidates than these before. Vandalizing things because you claim the paper was difficult? Incredible. Why are these students behaving as if they were promised that they were going to have the exams on a silver platter?

They refused not to take the exam because of these ongoings led by the headmaster of the school.
These developments did not go down well with the final year students who decided to register their displeasure to the Headmaster of the school and other authorities.
Hon Samuel Agyekum the DCE for Kumawu speaking to Nhyira 104.5 FM said everything is calm in the school. He said the students calmed down after he spoke with them. “I learned there were misunderstandings between the students and the teachers, but I was able to move in quickly and resolved the matter”. : He said.
However, it is important for students to know that breakages and leakages are payable and they will pay before the school hands over their certificates to them.
