Disheartening Video : How B.E.C.E CANDIDATES walk through floods to exams centers
The heavy rains in the northern part of Ghana have put BECE candidates in a disheartening situation as a result of the floodwaters. Commuting to the BECE exam centers demands more dexterity.
This is how B.E.C.E CANDIDATES have to walk through floods to their exams centers because all major roads that lead to Yendi and other major towns from Saboba have been cut off due to floods….. During peak times, they are completely cut off and will need boats to convey people from one town to another.
Students crossing have to put their school uniforms in the schoolbags and hold them above the shoulders to cross, then dress up to continue their journey.
That is Wapuli road which used to be better than Kpalba road. This Wapuli road used to be the only road all vehicles used during this time of the year but now both Roads have been cut off leaving BECE candidates with no option than to cross the floodwaters to the other side to access their examination centers in the ongoing BECE which started on Monday, September 14 2020.
No vehicle can get to Yendi now. The students who are the future leaders have to endure this in the Covid-19 era.
Imagine already being so hot and trying to keep a fresh mind for the exam and you have to walk through this flood or even worse miss your exam because all the roads to the exam center are cut off!?
