Ghanaians doubt ‘Agenda 111’, prove them wrong – Otumfuo to Akufo-Addo
Ghanaians doubt ‘Agenda 111’, prove them wrong. This is the latest advice from not less a person than the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to Nana Akufo Addo.
Ghanaians doubt Agenda 111…
President Nana Akufo-Addo has been asked by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to fulfill his pledge of building 111 district and regional hospitals across Ghana, saying that Ghanaians have lost faith in his promises.
Nana Achina Kwagyan, the Asuonyonu Hene, speaking on behalf of the Asantehene at Trede at the formal sod cutting for the government’s Agenda 111, said comments on social media plainly demonstrate that Ghanaians have no faith in his ability to deliver the 111 hospitals.
“Ghanaians are doubting you, they claim you have been unable to finish the Kumawu hospital, Fomena hospital is still uncompleted, if I go on social media, there are a lot of comments about your projects…but now you are the president and you must serve Ghanaians well, Ghanaians don’t forget and they are challenging you that you can’t fulfil your promise.

“But the Otumfuo believes that you can complete the 111 projects…Ghanaians are paying attention to the roads and the development projects you are undertaking. These are the things that motivate us to vote. We vote on anger and hunger but the Otumfuo says you can complete these projects and it will be your legacy. So the Otumfuo has vowed to pray and support you to complete these projects.”
President Nana Akufo-Addo cut the first sod for the Ashanti region’s Agenda 111 project on Tuesday.
