NSMQ2020: Adisadel College Wins Quarter Final Clash, Outsmarts St. Peters and OLA girls
Adisadel College dispatched the more fancied St. Peters in the 6th Quarterfinal at the ongoing NSMQ to reach the semi-finals for the 2020 edition.
When the 6th quarters final kicked off, the favourite was St. Peters but in the end Adisadel College stole the show.
In round 1 of the 6th NSMQ2020 quarter-finals, high scoring St. Peter’s SHS picked 27pts, Adisadel College followed with 19pts whiles OLA SHS managed just 10pts.
After round one, it looked like game over for Ola girls as they were less enterprising and being the underdogs, they fell off too quickly.

The end of Round 2 was not that different as the competition was between St. Peter’s SHS and Adisadel College, who had just a point separating them. Thus they scored 28 pts and 27pts respectively, while OLA girls managed just a point in the entire round. Their mood said it all. They had come to the end of the road and just wanted to see the end of the contest early.
Going into the third round, it was all set for a battle for supremacy between St. Peters and Adisadel with the latter showing dexterity and closing the gap in round 2. They entered the final round the more confident of the two schools.
OLA SHS, Ho: 13pts
ADISCO and ST PETERS scored 6 out of 10 for the Problem of the day and kept their support on the urge of the seat whiles OLA SHS got 7 out of 10 and aimed at redeeming its image. The two top schools knew one missed opportunity could be the game-changer.
Round 4 saw Adisadel pick the first spot ahead of St. Peters. Adisadel College obtained a total of 49pts, St Peter’s SHS fell to second with 44pts while the underdogs, OLA SHS from Ho showed some prospects with 33pts.
In the final round of the 6th NSMQ2020, Adisadel College won and moves on to the Semifinals
